T-3010 NoMix Refinishing Class

This course provides an overview of the Transtar No Mix Refinish System. The focus is how to get the most out of the No Mix System in a shop. Provides practical, hands-on instruction on the system software and specified products. Covers selection and use of product and standard operating procedures for repair/refinish. Includes tasks such as surface preparation, product selection, color retrieval, mixing, application, equipment, and best practices. Throughout this training, participants will apply what they learned.
T-4010 Paladin A.C.E. Class

This course provides an overview of the Transtar Paladin Industrial System. The focus is how to get the most out of the Paladin Intermix System. T-2010 Preppers Course

This course provides an understanding on surface preparation and an introduction to Transtar’s undercoat(primers) selection The focus is how to efficiently prep and apply primer to metal or plastic substrates. Provides practical, hands-on instruction on specified products. Covers selection and use of undercoats and standard operating procedures for prep and refinish. Includes tasks such as surface preparation, product selection, mixing, application, equipment, and best practices. Throughout this training, participants will apply what they learned.
T-1500 Texture Refinishing Course
with Brian Cauchi and Tom Beebe
Theory and practice of using a texture paint to simulate the original texture or smooth coating on damaged plastic parts. Students will also learn how to effectively apply a texture paint as a protective coating for a variety of components such as truck beds, wheel flares, bumpers, and other parts needing protection.

T-1100 6H Training

The T-1100 6H training course students will be able to identify and describe the basics compliance requirements of EPA Rule 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH including recognizing affected business operations, job tasks.They will also gain knowledge on compliant spray equipment including selection, set up, operation and maintenance of spray guns, compressed air components, spray booth, filters, and coating viscosity. Students will be able to demonstrate proper spray technique for different types of coatings to maximize transfer efficiency and minimize coating usage and overspray.
